Q - Why did you move to Ireland?
A - My wife and I were looking for a quieter place to live, far away from the stress of modern life. We had already considered France, Portugal, Scotland, and Wales, before she came up with Ireland. Within days, we flew over on a short holiday and immediately fell in love with the place.
Q - Do you regret the move?
A - No, not for a minute. Obviously, we miss seeing our friends and family in the UK, but we visit when we can.
Q - What do you like most about Ireland?
A - It would be hard to pick just one thing, but the people and the relaxed pace of life would be near to the top of my list.
Q - What do you dislike the most?
A - The weather, but that's why Ireland is so green!
Q - How many dogs do you have now?
A - Five.
Q - Do you still keep chickens?
A - After the latest fox attack, we decided that the only
safe place for a chicken was in the freezer, but recently we relented and now we have three lovely hens.
Q - Will you write another book like “Wrecking crew”?
A - I've been working on the second Eric Stone book, tentatively titled 'Stone Façade', however it's sitting on the back burner for a short while as I have recently signed a publishing deal with Ant Press to write a series of humorous memoirs. The first book, 'Fresh Eggs and Dog Beds' is out now, available at Amazon.
